Our Blue World: The Local and International Water Crisis

Can you imagine a day without access to clean water? Water is essential for life but over one billion people around the world lack access to clean water. Join the Federal City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc along with the Howard University Graduate School and Graduate Student Council for a screening of Brave Blue World which explores the technologies and innovations that have the potential to solve the world’s water crisis. The screening will be followed by an expert panel discussion on local and international water scarcity concerns, current research initiatives, and what specific actions attendees can take to contribute to positively impacting the access and availability of clean water.
