- Mayor Bowser’s Annual New Year’s Day FITDC 5K Walk/Run
- “Get Physical, Stay Healthy, Know Your Status,” HIV/AIDS Awareness program
- Monthly Health Moment focusing on national health and wellness observances (Hospice & Palliative Care, Colorectal Cancer Awareness, Women’s Eye Health & Safety and Heart Health to name a few)
- Monthly fitness activities to encourage behavioral lifestyle changes for the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of African American women and their families and to address the challenges associated with achieving personal health success
