MENTAL HEALTH ACROSS THE LIFESPAN (M.H.A.L.)
This initiative is a collaborative effort with the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), both part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), a component of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. A Memorandum of Understanding establishing the collaboration was signed in late 2014. The focus includes the following
- Bullying
- Postpartum depression
- Successful aging
- Depression & college students
Focused Programs include:
- Δ Mind Your Health Seminar (partnering with a divine nine fraternity)
- Δ Washington Center for Aging (Commencing 2018)
